This is the text (if you need help).
A United Nations report says hunger affects one in eight people. It says 842 million people (12 per cent of the world population) suffer from hunger. In 1992, it was 17 per cent. Many countries cannot feed their people. Africa has the highest number of hungry people. One in five Africans is hungry. In over 19 African nations, more than 25 per cent of people go hungry. Almost 98 per cent of the world's hungry people live in developing countries.
The World Food Programme said hunger is "not having enough food for an active and healthy life". Hunger is not eating enough to get the energy you need. Hunger is now more serious than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis. One of the biggest reasons for hunger is war. Developing countries that have experienced war have bigger problems. Things could get worse because of climate change. Hotter temperatures will mean less food and more hunger.
