Watching people eat online is popular in South Korea. Over 3,500 people have eating shows. Thousands of people watch them. One famous diner has thousands of followers. They watch her eat for three hours every day. It was a hobby, but now it's her job. People click a link to like her. She gets $9,000 a month from the clicks.

Koreans who live alone watch the online diners. They have no one to eat with. In 2030, 33 per cent of Koreans will live alone. The famous diner says she is helping people who eat alone. They write to her. They thank her for helping them with their eating problems. She likes them. She also likes talking about food.
