READING:

North Korea's Kim Jong-un is unhappy with weather forecasts. He said they are "incorrect". It is unusual for the leader to talk badly about the government. Mr Kim was visiting a weather station. He told workers to use better, more modern equipment. He told reporters it was important to protect people from the weather. North Korea has many natural disasters. It is important to have good weather forecasts.

There are many droughts and floods in North Korea. This means people do not have enough food. In May, there was one of the worst droughts in 30 years. In the 1990s there was a very bad famine. Wikipedia said between 240,000 and 3,500,000 people died. North Korea needs food aid from other countries. Many people would die without this. A lot of the food aid does not get to the hungry people who need it.
