More British people fixing their own teeth
People can now repair their own teeth with $7 dental kits. Many people have no money for a dentist. A filling can cost $70 – ten times more than the price of the dental kit. A dental group said 20 per cent of British people would fix their own teeth or the teeth of their family. This includes pulling out a tooth. Britain's free health service does not include dental work. DIY dentistry is popular there because many people are poor. A spokeswoman for a local community said: "You've got people taking care of their whole family's teeth." Some people think a haircut is more important than the dentist. |
