Soccer star waits in line for 13 hours to pay respects to Queen Elizabeth
Former England football player David Beckham waited in line for over 13 hours to pay his respects to Queen Elizabeth II. Other celebrities jumped the queue with VIP passes, but Mr Beckham wanted to experience queuing with the public. Many people were happy that he was in the queue. He said: "It's a day for us to remember the incredible legacy that she's left." Queen Elizabeth died on September the 8th at the age of 96. Her body is currently lying in state so that mourners can pay their respects. Beckham appeared to wipe away tears as he stopped at the Queen's coffin. |
