Search and rescue teams are trying to reach the disaster areas. The conditions and weather are terrible.
The world is giving support to Turkey and Syria. The EU sent 1,150 rescue workers. Emergency teams are giving essential health care for the injured people. Mexico sent a team of dogs who are experts in finding survivors. The U.S. president was "deeply saddened by the loss of life". He promised to give "any help that is needed".
