The woman had Russian passport and was around 60 years old. She boarded Delta Air Lines aircraft at JFK International Airport in New York. She managed to get past many security checks to board plane. She had no boarding pass. Police say she hid in the plane's toilets throughout the seven-hour flight. She was discovered when flight attendant noticed the woman was making frequent, long trips to different toilets on airplane.

However, she caused disturbance while plane was on the runway waiting to take off. man who sat near her on the plane as it waited to depart from Paris spoke to CNN. He said woman looked very worried.
