Now do this put-the-text-back-together activity.
This is the text (if you need help).
Seattle will fine people who waste food. It will warn people in January and then fine people in July. There is a $1 fine if over 10% of garbage is food. The city wants to cut food waste. Americans waste around 40% of their food. Seattle wants to recycle 60% of its waste. It also wants people to compost food waste.
Seattle wants people to understand that recycling is important. It wants people to separate their garbage. A city worker said the fines would not make money. He said the system would be successful. Garbage collectors will look inside garbage bins. They will check for food waste. If they find a lot of food waste, they will give a fine.
